This year check out different ways to experience the outdoors with family and friends here at Avon Tyrrell, from our Go Adventure sessions to bike hire and family events there really is something for everyone to enjoy, with Avon Tyrrell in the New Forest National Park.
Want to make a short break of it? Combine activities with a stay in one of our forest lodges or camp out under the stars and have the ultimate outdoor experience.

Go Adventure Activities
Climb a route on our climbing tower, kayak or canoe across our lake, test your skills on our Archery range, learn Bushcraft survival skills and much more. With so many options, you and your family and friends can all discover a new adventure for just £15 pp for a 90-minute session.
If you are coming as part of a group and there is something that you want to do, we recommend booking one of our group activity sessions. This will not only guarantee you availability, but the session will also be exclusive to your group and offers the greatest flexibility and choice. Spending time together is important, and our events programme offers you the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors together right here in the New Forest. This year we have a great programme of activities for everyone to enjoy, so join our Easter Activity Trail or join us for a spooktacular adventure on our Halloween Activity Trail, we guarantee you will want to return again and again.
Family Adventure
Bike Hire
Hire a bike from Avon Tyrrell and hit our bike tracks! With our Red and Blue routes for beginners and intermediate riders and a Pump and Gravity track for the more experienced, there is plenty of riding for everyone around our 65 acres of grounds, or venture further afield and explore the New Forest.
Bike hire costs just £13 for a child’s full-day hire and £23 for an adult’s full-day hire.

No one loves an adventure more than kids, so celebrate their next birthday with an outdoor adventure for them and their friends at Avon Tyrrell. Choose from a range of exciting activities like Climbing, High Ropes, and Kayaking, or if they would prefer to keep their feet on the ground, we have Archery and a selection of more creative environmental activities.
